General/Medical Questions

Consultation Appointment

  • Artists: Philip Milic and Michael Beckerat are our resident artists. We also host guest artists from across the country and around the world. Each Sweet Spirit Tattoo artist, whether a resident or guest, offers custom work.

  • Consultation Duration: Appointments last 15-20 minutes to discuss design, size, placement, and pricing. Consultations can also be conducted over email; however, the artist may request an in-person meeting before the final tattoo appointment.

  • Walk-ins: Accepted if an artist is available, but availability is not guaranteed without a confirmed appointment.

  • Pricing: Each artist sets their own hourly rate and minimum tattoo charge. Prices vary based on size, complexity, and placement.

General/Medical Questions

  • Health conditions that compromise the immune system, such as diabetes, HIV/AIDS, and autoimmune disorders, can impact healing.

  • If you have a heart condition or are taking blood-thinning medications, please consult your doctor before getting a tattoo.

  • Skin abnormalities such as scars, psoriasis, eczema, or sunburn may affect the final appearance of the tattoo.

  • We do not tattoo pregnant or lactating women for the safety of both mother and baby.

  • All needles used in our tattoos are sterile and single-use, disposed of after use. All equipment and furnishings used during a tattoo are sanitized after each client.

  • Children are not allowed in the shop during business hours when clients are present.
